Question by : Which credit reporting agency is best for the credit report?
I know that i can get my free credit report once a year, but there are like 3 reporting agencies to chose from. Which of those agencies is most accurate, and gives out the most info? I want one, to show all the negatives thing i might have in order for me to fix them, if there are any.

The only thing im going to say about that is EVERY time you check ur credit, it hurts your credit, no matter what. Just checking it hurts it…

Start by learning the business and the way things work with the credit bureaus. You can get business by referrals such as family, friends, car dealerships, mortgage professionals etc. Don’t expect business to fall on your lap! GO GET IT!

I have paid for alllllll of my old collection accounts and I’m just waiting for them to drop off of my credit reports. I’ve been looking into credit repair service on line and wondering if they can actually help. All of the items on my reports are actually MINE and I did actually owe them, but they are all FINALLY paid off. Is there any hope to get them removed quickly?

They are all fairly equal as long as you pay them off each month. I opt for the card with cash back. My APR is high because of the feature (12.95%), but APR doesn’t really matter to me.
Discover has a weird setup on their APR. It is some dual billing on their APR. It seemed fishy so I went with CITI Card. They put your picture on the card for free and everything.
Don’t be like 50% of dumb americans and carry a balance!

I have a Jared jewelry credit card account. I was wondering the best way to keep this active and build credit at the same time.What I have been doing is buying something within my means and making min payments to pay it off in one year. Is this good? Is it better to buy smaller things and pay off in full every month? Need help any accurate feedback is greatly needed.

It’s best to pay it in full each month. I would try to get a Visa or Mastercard instead of a store card. That way, instead of buying things you might not need, you could use it for gas, groceries, and other everyday expenses.

If you do get another card, keep your store card open too with a zero balance, as long as there’s no annual fee. That shows that more banks trust you, and you’re using a smaller percentage of your available credit.

The best website for FREE credit reports is: www.annualcreditreport.com. This is a site sponsored by the government and you will not have to sign up for any credit services to receive your reports (3 per year). There is no FREE site for credit score without signing up for some monthly service. On the site I recommend you can get you score for less than $ 10 dollars. It is worth it so you don’t get stuck paying for a credit monitoring service you don’t want.
