Question by Turkey Choke: Credit report?
I have some information from a apartment on my credit report, that is causing a low rating. It’s like 1,500 dollars worth of unpaid debt. I was told to write (hand write) letters to the credit bureau contesting the information, and send it certified mail so someone is actually recieveing it. Can someone expain in detail what exactly to write, and to who? Do I need to write all three agencies? And how often?

You can try, but if the debt is within your states statute of limitations, then they will not remove it. If it IS beyond your states SOL then you can write the CRA’s and inform them of this fact. They may or may not remove the item.
